Physician assisted suicide has become a matter of great importance for medical professionals all around the world. Last year, those who live in the State of Washington voted in a referendum to legalize assisted suicide. Sadly, this referendum passed.

Since then, six other states have faced legislative initiatives to legalize assisted suicide. Not one of the initiatives has passed. Canada and the UK there will soon be faced with a legislative attempt to legalize assisted suicide.
